Born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey, Mr. Villalobos’ early exposure to the legal profession, influenced by his father attending law school, ignited a lifelong passion for the law. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for his distinguished legal career.
A graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Mr. Villalobos earned his B.A. in English with a concentration in Film Studies in 1999. Following a thirteen-year tenure as a professional actor in New York, he transitioned to Cali, Colombia, where he immersed himself in teaching English as a foreign language, concurrently deepening his connection with his Colombian heritage. In 2016, he earned a Master’s degree in Spanish with a concentration in Linguistics from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
Mr. Villalobos culminated his academic journey by graduating seventh in his class with Magna Cum Laude honors from Florida International University College of Law in 2019. During his time at the law school, he was honored with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for outstanding performance in six courses, including Professional Responsibility, Legal Skills and Values I and III, Criminal Procedure, Product Liability, and Sales.
His legal acumen and dedication were further demonstrated through his participation in the trial team, notably competing in the Texas Young Lawyers National Trial Competition.
Beyond his legal pursuits, Mr. Villalobos finds fulfillment in sports, particularly soccer, and maintains a keen interest in theatre, television, and cinema. Fluent in Spanish, he brings a multilingual and culturally attuned perspective to his practice.
