2020 A Modern Citizen Scholarship

We are excited to offer a scholarship to an enthusiastic student who is interested in learning about and taking action on challenges facing their community and the world. As attorneys invested in protecting people who are suffering from negligence and injury, we are also interested in the overall systems of law in this country and want to reward a student who takes an active role in solving these problems. Tools for Success

We were looking forward to being part of Tikis on the Terrace this year. However, this year’s event was canceled due to the progression of COVID-19. As much as we were looking forward to the event, we agree that community comes first! This is why we still made a donation to Tools for Success. Tool for Success helps families in Martin County who are struggling financially to provide their children with back to school supplies as well as clothing, shoes, and backpacks. If you are interested in donating, click here.

Supporting Temple Beth Shira

Kogan & DiSalvo joined in supporting a great local community initiative in Boca Raton hosted by Temple Beth Shira, The Ultimate Bee Gees Tribute Concert! A fundraising effort by the temple, this event featured “Staying’ Alive”, a tribute band to the nostalgia and magic of the Bee Gees, music and disco. The event was held at the Countess de Hoernle Theatre of the Spanish River Community High School. “Staying’ Alive” had performed sold out shows across the nation, so we boogied on down to the best hits of the Bee Gees and helped support a great community cause.

Professionalism Committee’s Breakfast Seminar

The Professionalism Committee’s Breakfast Seminar was hosted by the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and supported by many local sponsors, including Kogan & DiSalvo. Attendees enjoyed a continental breakfast buffet while listening to panelists discuss local and state grievance procedures and how to ethically approach dealing with and reporting unprofessional conduct. Thank you to all who participated in this event!

SPBCBA’s YLS and PBCBA’s YLS Joint Happy Hour

We had a great time at SALT7, indulging in gourmet entrees and premium cocktails. A special thank you goes out to the South Palm Beach County Bar Association (SPCCBA) for organizing the SPBCBA’s YLS and PBCBA’s YLS Joint Happy Hour and everyone who came out for a good time. We’re looking forward to next year’s event!

Take Steps Walk

We understand the challenges that come with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and that people affected by this disease often feel isolated. We are proud to have been sponsors of the West Palm Beach Take Steps Walk. Take Steps is a family-friendly fundraising event where patients, loved ones, friends, and supporters empower and inspire each other to continue the fight against these devastating diseases. We are happy to have been part of such an amazing event.

Boca Hoops Summer Camp

In 2019, we conducted the Boca Hoops Summer Camp Nomination to give back to children in the community. A local child was selected to attend Boca Hoops’s basketball summer camp for a week to learn from experienced players.
